    Subrosa urban assault pack

The stretchy elastic that holds the top of the organization slots In the middle compartment does not stay tight and just goes loose so it does not hold stuff very well. Also the zippers all need to be tied on because they pull out of the metal zipper when you get the bag.

    Solid backpack

I really like this backpack. It's solid with a good balance of size and carrying capacity. My only complaint is the pull strings for the zippers are too thin and slip out of the zippers. This is frustrating when you are in a hurry. Other than that, this is great gear.

    3V Subrosa

    Posted by dimm0k on Aug 21st 2018

let me start off by saying 3V's customer service is awesome!
that said, I purchased this bag originally from Amazon after seeing a bunch of YouTube reviews and really liked the aesthetics, functionality, and size of the bag. I currently use this as my work EDC and really like how it looks so clean with no dangling straps and almost no resemblance to a tactical bag. the pockets allow me to fit everything neatly from pens to a backup cellphone, as well as papers and cables. the back of the bag provides for nice ventilation that I was surprised I barely broke a sweat while wearing this bag during the summer days in NYC. only gripe I have is how the bag's form at the top of the bag doesn't hold despite the sturdy feel of the bag. not really a gripe with this one, but the zipper pulls should be replaced as they keep sliding out. overall I'm happy with this bag and would purchase it again, especially with the price it's almost a steal!

Overall, average, but totally low key

Posted by Robert Gonzalez on Aug 20th 2018

I bought this backpack because I was looking for something that was low profile, slim, minimal, durable, and could fit my 15" Macbook Pro daily. This pack also happened to be on sale with a discount code when I bought it, so that made it a little easier to spend the money on. After owning it for a couple of days, I can say that I am feeling a bit "meh" about this pack.

The truth is, it feels low quality right out of the packaging. As someone who owns an array of tactical and heavy duty bags and packs, this one feels like a $10 pack you'd find at a discount store. The zippers feel low quality, the stitching of the small outer pocket causes the zipper to get stuck both opening and closing, and the low quality zipper mechanisms themselves have already caused the pull to fall out.

The fit of the padded computer pouch is tighter than it should be to accommodate a 15" laptop, and the stitching of the interior is pretty shoddy. The layout of the admin pocket also leaves a lot to be desired, as there are no zippered pockets to secure items into. And the use of polyester as the material for the exterior means that the life of this pack will be much less than its nylon or cordura counterparts.

Even though this back feels low quality, I will point out a few positives of it. First, it is pretty lightweight, so it is easy to carry. The padding on the back is comfortable - even if it is a little stiff - and offers support for the back. The shoulder straps are wide and well padded, so they make carrying a loaded back easy to do. And the look and feel of the back, in general, is quite nice. It indeed is a minimal pack, and it is slim, and it is non-descript. So it meets those criteria for me.

Overall this pack is pretty average, and perhaps not worth its price tag. But it is functional, and if you are looking for a slim, minimal pack that makes you a gray man, this pack will do that. But if you are looking for high quality, or durable, this really isn't the pack for you. Fortunately for me I just needed a pack that I can carry my computer to work with, and maybe stash a hoodie for when the weather changes.

    Great Backpack

Posted by Elvis Ripley on Jun 28th 2018

This is such a solid pack. I have some of the 3V tactical packs but wanted something more chill. This is great. I love the feel of the outside tough fabric and inside slick fabric. Carry laptop and or iPad and cables or whatever.

    Great backpack for EDC!!

Posted by Rey on Jun 8th 2018

If your are looking for an everyday carry backpack that is not too bulky or doesn't scream tactical but has features like the super expensive packs at a fraction of the cost? This is your bag. Look up some reviews on YouTube. Nothing but praises for the backpack. Good job 3V

    Compact and Clean

Posted by Todd Garrett on Jun 5th 2018

I'm on the road every day for work and this great little pack holds all my stuff in an organized way. When the pack arrived there was a small manufacturing defect, but when brought to 3V's attention they promptly sent me a new one at no cost. Great customer service on a smart pack.

This is my new favorite bag! Bought it back in February to replace my worn out book bag. I love the sleek look and it holds and organizes everything I need. Good work 3V!

    Good bag

Posted by Corbin on May 23rd 2018

Good bag, seems like the quality is good. Zipper pull cords are a little thin for the zippers and pulled out a couple of times, easily fixed by clamping down the opening with some needle nose pliers.
