The Outlaw II, by 3V Gear, is a tactical shoulder bag that lives up to the rugged capability of all 3V Gear. 20% larger than its predecessor, the original Outlaw, this shoulder bag is the best EDC bag out on the market. The Outlaw II is hydration ready, made with tough 600D PVC-backed polyester, and has a lifetime warranty. This tactical bag is big enough to hold smaller laptops and iPad size devices. There are many internal zippered compartments which makes organizing easy and fast. The Outlaw is also perfect as a medium-sized EDC bag.

For the adventurer always on the move, impossible to catch and virtually unstoppable, only the Outlaw II Gear Slinger Pack will do. Don’t miss a step with this innovative sling style pack designed to provide quick access to your mission critical gear without removing the pack. Simply sling the Outlaw from your back to your chest and access via the side-oriented compartments to your neatly organized gear. Built to exacting standards from heavy-duty 600D PVC-backed polyester with rust resistant nylon zippers this pack can handle the rigors of Every Day Carry without a hitch. When carrying a large load, the extra stabilizer strap will transform the Outlaw II Gear Slinger into a hauler just as steady and stabile as any daypack. Featuring three intelligently sized storage compartments (with built in organizers), hydration and CCW compatible, and sling style design allows for full range of motion whether shouldering a weapon or scrambling up a talus slope. You’ll be the one with the quickest draw when outfitted with the Outlaw II.

The Outlaw II pairs well with our Shadow Shot CCW Universal Pistol Holster

Looking for a smaller CCW bag? The Posse is smaller than the Outlaw II but just as awesome.

    Outlaw II Gear Slinger Pack

Posted by Norman on Jun 19th 2018

I previously owned the Outlaw I and it served me well for over 3 years of daily including an overseas deployment. Thus far, the Outlaw II has exceeded my expectations with its tweeks over the earlier model. Love the additional pen holders and pouches in the compartment behind the front vertical zipper pouch. Keep the good work. Lookinn forward to years of use out this new pack!! Thanks.

    Loved it…at first

Posted by Bill R. on May 30th 2018

I loved this bag for the first three months I had it. Now a zipper pull has broken off. I am so careful with it because it was a favorite. Thought I would use it for a long while. Reaching out to customer service about warranty, hopefully they can repair it.

    Outlaw II

Posted by Mike Licavoli on May 29th 2018

Great pack, just the size I was looking for. Seems quite sturdy and well made. I have gotten quite a few comments on how good it looks. If I needed to have any negatives about it, it would be the zipper pulls feel cheap. It was an easy fix though with some paracord.

    Everything but the kitchen sink.

Posted by Linda Andersen on May 29th 2018

The title fits perfectly since I fit just about everything in there but the kitchen sink. I have the foliage gray color Outlaw II slinger bag and I use it as my everyday bag. It's not too big and it's not too small. (I wish I could show the pics I took to prove this to ya'll...) In this bag I am able to fit a 32oz Nalgene bottle in the side holder or a 1 ltr. Camelbak Eddy bottle. In the main pack I can fit my Macbook Pro, the charging cable, superdrive and an XL Carhartt full zip hoodie. I can also fit a Beats by Dre Solo 2 headphones (in the pouch). The outside top pocket I can fit an Exotac TitanLIGHT, Travel toothbrush (the foldable kind), travel toothpaste and mouthwash. There is a bottle of hand sanitizer and a pack of wet wipes, travel size tube of Aquaphor, and a Doc Spartan Combat Ready Ointment (handheld device size). I also have a set of really awesome tweezers and a thing of duct tape. In the top middle pouch I have a Condor Molle pocket pouch (3V has one like it in their pouches section of the shop... check it out!) which has usb cables and such in it, I also have a bottle of aloe vera thanks to the sun. In the lower middle pouch (the admin pouch) I have 3 Sharpie pens, 2 pens, 1 pencil, a Rite in the rain notepad, my apple pencil and a 9.7" iPad Pro. On the outside strap, I have a Thin Red Line chapstick holder with chapstick. Do I carry this much all the time, gosh no, but I packed it all and tested it just so I can show you how much this cat can hold. Even with it packed, it was still very comfortable. No pinch points, no sore spots. If you are looking to carry the kitchen sink, I would suggest the Velox 2, your entire house... the Paratus (both of which I own as well).

This is a tough little bag that doesn't play. I've chucked it around at home and in the office just to see what it would do. When you order this bag, it comes with a 3V Patch as well as an American flag patch and a decal. I purchased the Thin Red Line and Thin Blue line patch from here. On the outside I can fit both flags and a standard ACU name tape (I served in the Army so I still have some). There is plenty of room inside and plenty of molle on the outside. I have not tested out the water resistant capability because well... I have one bag and I'd hate to mess it up being aggressive. However, I am going to scotchguard it now that the snow is gone and the temps are warm. I did change the zippers. The way this bag is, they are knotted at the top. I bought zip caps (like you see on other tactical equipment), and shortened these to my liking and added the caps. That was the only improvement I saw that needed to happen. Hey 3V, if you want proof of what I packed in... let me know, I would be more than glad to share!!!)

This review was of my own doing. I was not paid or offered anything for my opinion. I just wanted to share an honest truth and hopefully answer what can this thing hold, and is it worth getting. The answer is, it can hold everything but the kitchen sink and it is worth getting all day long! I wish you all the best in your shopping endeavors, you have a good one!

    Bad zipper

Posted by Wallie on May 13th 2018

I had this in my wish list and I received this as a gift the Christmas of 2016 and have used it a dozen or so times. Quality is good other than the zipper on the front pouch is no longer zipping correctly. I do like this bag, just wish the zipper hadn't failed.

    Great features

Posted by Rebecca on May 2nd 2018

I purchased and returned the FUNANASUN, Reebow Tactical, and Red Rock Outdoor versions of this pack for comparison before deciding to keep this one. They're all almost identical in design, with little things here and there that are different, i.e. better featured admin pocket in the front. But it's the little things that make all the difference in the world to me, so the 3V won the comparison. Each pack had things I liked about it over the others, but this one all around met my needs and I was able to MOLLE on the things I liked about the other packs to this one so now it's perfect. Also, compared to the others, this one felt to be of a slightly better build quality. That said, the other three packs were all of acceptable quality. The stitching on this is tough and is doing extremely well for my light to medium duty urban use over the past two months. I carry a lot in this pack and nothing is falling apart. It was put through it's paces right away in Disney World for a week. I was thrilled with its performance and ability to snugly hold a 32 oz. RTIC Water Bottle or a 30 oz. RTIC cup. Outside of theme parks, etc. where I am not allowed to carry, I keep my spare firearm (a rotation that includes a G19, a G22, a P229 Sig 9mm, and a Walther PPQ M2 4" 9mm) in the concealed compartment that doubles as the bladder for a hydration pouch. This fits my 9.7" iPad perfect with room to spare. I think I might be able to fit my Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Ultrabook in the tablet pocket, but I haven't tried yet. I carry all necessary cables, a small power bank, spare batteries for the two tac lights in the admin pocket where I also have pens, sharpies, two knives, and a USB thumb drive that all organize perfectly in the pockets contained within. In the top small outer pocket I carry three loaded mags the elastic does a good job of holding. I did MOLLE on a spare 5.11 Tactical pouch for WDW and the MOLLE worked perfect with tight fit and never came loose. As of right now, I love this bag and feel I made the right decision to keep it vs. the others.

    Quality issues

Posted by Scott on Apr 30th 2018

The design is really good. The quality is really bad. I've had this pack for less than 3 months, when it first arrived it had some loose theads on the outside. (Not a big deal) but today it started coming apart internally. It's only one spot right now in the admin portion of the pack, but there was nothing I did that would make this happen. I'm disappointed in this purchase and will go for better quality next time.

Posted by Gabe on Mar 27th 2018

Although a decent bag, I certainly didn't expect to receive it with 2 zippers broken! Not worth my time to box it all up and drive to the post office to send back, taking time and money outta my day. Glad I only made a small order to see if the products were any good.

    This pack is perfect!

Posted by Nicholas L. on Mar 17th 2018

This pack is perfect! I use it for my college classes and work. It holds everything I need: sketchbooks, notebooks, art supplies, laptop, iPad, drumsticks, and my Glock 19. I’ve attached an EMT rip-away pouch to the front for extra tools and writing utensils. The size is perfect. It fits all I need for going back and forth from work to class without being too bulky. The strap is comfortable and secure. The concealed carry pocket holds my glock in just the right spot, matching the curvature of my back, and there’s plenty of padding to reduce any discomfort from being right against my back.

    Smaller than I expected

Posted by Joseph B. on Mar 14th 2018

The backpack was just a little bit smaller than I thought it would be; I definitely enjoy the design but it seems very hard to fit anything with any bulk into it. It is designed to carry very slight and thin items. The backpack also arrived with a number of lose threads hanging of it; not a huge issue just didn't appear very professional. I really enjoy the way it sits on my shoulder and back and is extremely convenient to get into. Overall, I think this is a killer backpack, especially for the price, and I look forward to putting it to the test!

Posted by Daren G. on Feb 2nd 2018

One of the packs I received was missing a zipper, so one of the exterior pockets only has one zipper pull on it. This obvious defect totally changes the function of the pack and somehow made it through "quality" control. The company was not very cooperative or helpful during the exchange process. I like the pack, but I was disappointed that they were completely unwilling to take steps to restore confidence in their brand and quality claims. It is tough to recommend buying from 3V.

It's become my favorite go-to bag, I carry it as my man-purse with pride!! I also use it to carry all my kids equipment when we go on trips to save on bags.
