Everyday Carry Tactical Backpack Prototype
We would like to introduce you to a new backpack that we are working on and calling the "Everyday Carry Tactical Backpack". As you can see, this new line of bags and backpacks is going away from classic polyester and nylon materials. These bags will also not have a "military" look. While they may not have the look, they more than make up for in modern features which we think you will love.
This pack was designed, as the name implies, to be an everyday carry (EDC) backpack. Meaning this would be the pack you carry with you everyday. Whether you work in an office job, travel a lot, or work blue collar, this backpack easily adapts to your needs. It is roughly 20% taller and 10% wider than our current Velox. We are using different thicknesses of ripstop and nylon materials. We use nylon in the high abrasion areas (bottom of the pack) and lighter weight ripstop in less stressed areas (top of the bag). It has a dedicated laptop sleeve and iPad/notebook sleeve, tons of organization, an admin panel inside the front pocket and the side pocket. Additionally, we are using high density PVC to create a MOLLE system that allows you to attach any of your MOLLE pouches to the front of side of the bag.
Here are some of the additional features that will accompany this bag:
- Full clam-shell opening
- Water bottle pocket
- CCW accessible
- Thick padded shoulder straps
- Removable waist belt
- YKK zippers throughout
- Adjustable sternum strap
- 4-way compression straps
- EVA molded back panel
- Hydration compatible
- Easy-grip zipper pulls
This is by no means the complete list of features and benefits. WeI wanted to give you an idea of where we are headed in the development process.

I’ve been searching for a new hiking/back country/photography pack. This looks promising.
I am looking foward to this backpack, as it really looks great.
On your new Everyday Carry Tactical Backpack side grab handles so that it can be carried like a suitcase or a duffel bag would be helpful.
