The Paratus 3 Day Operator's Pack is the crown jewel of the 3V Gear line. It all started with our search for a great bug out bag (BOB). Disappointed with the quality and price of most tactical backpacks we decided to create our own. The Paratus 3-Day Operator's Pack is not only the toughest and most versatile military style bug out bag on the planet, it is also comfortable to carry. It does not matter how cool a tactical pack looks unless it feels good when you wear it, right? The Paratus tactical backpack makes long distance hiking or walking easy and comfortable, while the detachable deployment pack and MOLLE pouches allow you to ditch the larger pack for rapid excursions. This makes the Rapid Deployment Pack perfect for keeping your med kit and other essentials. It can also double as a great vehicle bag.

Padded shoulder straps, double stitched seams, self-healing zippers, 600D PVC backed polyester and almost 2,500 cubic inches of storage space make the Paratus 3-Day Operator's Pack the best military or tactical style backpack. Military spec MOLLE adorns most of the bag allowing you limitless options for attachments and arrangements.

The Paratus 3-Day Operator's Tactical Backpack is one of the best gear packs available as it makes a great bug out bag, assault pack, military pack, rucksack, hunting, or hiking backpack. The MOLLE compatible, 4-in-1 pack, features the main Paratus backpack, the Rapid Deployment Pack, and two Ally MOLLE Pouches. The modular design of this pack makes it extremely versatile and durable. Heavy-duty 600D PVC backed polyester makes the Paratus tactical backpack weather resistant, strong, and long lasting. Side-release buckles and compression straps keep your load secure and make it easy to tighten the backpack. A molded EVA back panel aids with airflow against your back and gives the backpack additional structure. Padded shoulder and waist straps give comfort and support while keeping the backpack secure.

The Rapid Deployment Pack is fully MOLLE compatible and will attach to any MOLLE pack, vest or other gear. This compact pack has a convenient grab handle or it can be carried with the concealable waist/shoulder belt. Perfect for when you need to grab your kit and go or for 100 other possible uses, i.e. first aid kits, ammo bags, climbing harnesses, survival kits, or other emergency situations.

Don't let the price fool you! 3V Gear cuts out the middle man so you can save on quality gear with a Lifetime Warranty

I just returned from a deployment with Team Rubicon in the Florida Panhandle and this pack is more than it seems. Not only does it look good, it feels great! I’m about to decide which other pack I want to take me take on the airplane for my next deployment. Bravo!!

    A few minor issues

Posted by Bryan S. on Oct 20th 2018

Very nice pack. Stitching seems stout, I haven't had any issues with them coming undone or any seam failures. I took one star because I felt like it should have had an internal frame with the cubic inches this pack offers, easily fixed with a piece of plastic cut and put in the laptop pocket. Color doesnt match other manufacturer tans. The Molle isn't as large as it should be, some after market accessories will fit and some won't. Over all a great pack. I'd buy again even with the issues.

Holds up great, owned for two years so far

Posted by Matt on Oct 8th 2018

I have owned this bag for roughly 2 yeahs and it has held up great, I use it for my "up north" back, I can pack more into this bag than I normally need for my extended weekend bag. I am thinking of buying a second to actually turn into my B.O.B…

3 jobs and plenty of room.

Posted by Victor Vasquez on Aug 30th 2018

I am a career Firefighter with 1 full time job and 2 part time. I work north/south/west of Houston. I needed a large bag to hold my bedding/toiletries/2 change of clothes and also room for my admin. The Paratus 3-Day Pack fit the bill. Very well made, the zippers make opening and closing so easy, kept my things dry, it hugs your back, and just looks cool. I love this pack. Thx 3V. Vic

    3 Day Operator

Posted by Terry Horne on Aug 15th 2018

I have not been in the field as of yet but i am very satisfied with the construction and layout of the pack. After 20 years in the USMC carrying the alice pack this is the best possible upgrade for field use. I will let you know how my next outing goes.

    High quality, capable, comfortable

Posted by Nathan Foster on Jul 27th 2018

The Paratus 3 Day Pack does not disappoint, with military grade design and materials, but much more comfortable to carry. Perfect for hiking camping trips. Would gladly recommend to anyone looking for their first or next backpack.

    Great fit

Posted by George E on Jul 11th 2018

Great fit. All my gear stayed dry in a pretty heavy down pour. Also had to carry my K-9 partner, another sixty pounds and he rested right on top of the pack and over my shoulder. The dog was quite pleased to have a soft pack to rest on. The pack held up with no tears or stress. I will purchase another.

Good at first, not wearing great.

Posted by Mac on Jun 28th 2018

It's a nice sized bag for the price. Construction seems reasonably solid, and had I rated this when I first purchased it I would've given it a solid five stars.
I'm now nine months into using it daily as my EDC bag. I commute 3-4 hours a day with about 25lbs of gear. I configured it without the side pouches, but with the bottom pouch attached. Frankly the bag looks stupid without the bottom pouch.

The padding in the straps and rear of the pack have compressed, negatively affecting the comfort level. The molle straps on the bottom pouch are not typical of molle pouches, and the snaps are weak; I've had it partially come off multiple times.

Another negative is that the webbing on the top sides of the pack is not standard width. Obviously if you use their side pouches it's fine, but I recently attempted to attach a variety of pouches which did not fit. They did fit on the bottom webbing, however.

On the plus side, the stitching is still in good shape and all the buckles are of good quality and haven't broken.

I'm planning to save my pennies and jump up to something better. Alternatively, I may see if I can mod it with a proper set of milsurp straps.
