Redesigned Single Pistol Case

We are thinking about redesigning the Single Pistol Case and adding some more versatility to the case. The old case is a simple design that will hold a single pistol and one magazine. While this is good for what it is designed for and being very basic, we think making the case more modular and affording more organization would be a little more beneficial to you.

In the image above you can see two cutout squares below the original single pistol case. It is quite a bit larger but this gives us more room to create more organization. The square on the left will have a tablet pocket that will be large enough to hold the smaller iPad Pro. On the front of the tablet pocket will be pockets for a cell phone, cables, pens, pencils or other similar items.

This is a quick mockup showing how one could organize the front of the tablet pocket. On the right side of the case, there will be an panel of velcro that covers the entire surface. This allows us to customize this area in different ways. Of course, you can use the area for your pistol in the Shadow Shot and we will be creating a velcro magazine holder so you could add one or two of those to the empty space.

We are going to take this a step further and create a removable admin panel that will cover most of the surface and have a velcro back.

This admin panel will be a mix of elastic loop and pockets. You will be able to organize all of your EDC, batteries, cables, notebooks, memory cards, medical supplies, and more. It is really limitless on how you organize this panel. We are going to make this panel interchangeable with a new backpack and messenger bag that we are working on so you could swap this panel between bags and cases.

One of the coolest things about this case is that it can become your mini briefcase, tech case, travel case, pistol case, or medical case. We like to have our products be as versatile as possible and we think this one fits the bill. You could even have multiples of the admin panels and swap them out for different reasons/scenarios.

We are going to continue working on this design and begin building some prototypes. Below is an early admin panel that was a starting point.

Here are a few of the additional features/changes that we are thinking about.

• Remove the MOLLE straps from the pistol case. It would probably be too large to attach to the outside of a bag.
• Make the interior a different color for easier visibility.
• Add a handle to the outside of the case, down the spine, for easier hand carry.
• Ripstop interior
• YKK zippers
• Thin plastic insert on the front and back for stability and protection of the contents.
• External stash pocket.

Obviously, this case is quite a bit different from the Single Pistol Case and will probably become an entirely new product. We are excited to see where this case takes us.
